With an inspection camera we can observe the interior of the machines and parts of our facilities. When talking about an inspection camera,we usually refer to an endoscope or a thermal imaging camera, but in both cases it is an ideal tool for maintenance. The flexible probe of the endoscopes or the thermal image of possible breakdowns in machines and electrical installations that a thermal imaging camera shows us, allow us to easily detect problem areas and, in turn, take the necessary preventive measures. The inspection chamber will carry out all these functions without having to disassemble machines or parts of the installation, which would be very expensive just by performing an analysis. The inspection camera is ideal for electricians, security personnel, experts in different sectors, electronics technicians, precision mechanics, car mechanics, etc. In addition, it is also suitable for continuous training.

Both at the professional level and in training and higher schools, the inspection camera can be used as an aid for demonstrations, teaching and visualization of technical problems. In industry and construction, it is able to perform fast, efficient and more economical inspections since it does not require stopping production to disassemble a machine, for example.

An articulated inspection chamber offers multiple benefits. In industrial applications, often only small cavities can be used to insert the inspection chamber head inside machines, but when it is inside, there can be much more space.

What is a pipe inspection chamber?

A pipe inspection camera is a type of endoscope, that is, an optical inspection tool for cavities or hard-to-reach places. A pipe inspection chamber is mainly used for the inspection of tubes located on the ground, as it allows to locate damaged points, leaks, etc. Problems in pipes are usually caused by obstructions, jams, in old pipes by cracks or by roots that penetrate them.

Using a pipe inspection camera avoids digging up, disassembling, and inspecting the pipe. The inspection chamber for pipes has a chamber head with push system. The camera head has intense illumination which allows to transmit a good image of the pipes. The inspection chamber for pipes is also equipped with a fairly large camera head. The CMOS sensors integrated in the head are very sensitive to light and therefore show the image very well in low light conditions. Because the head is larger, the camera usually has a higher resolution than conventional inspection endoscopes.

The pipe inspection camera has an endoscopic fiber optic probe with a thrust system, which can be easily moved even over long distances. The semi-rigid construction allows you to work without problems.

When purchasing a pipe inspection chamber it is necessary to ensure that it meets the necessary requirements, because the choice of the right model affects that it obtains the desired results.
