A microscope is a device or mechanism that allows better visibility of smaller elements or objects, obtaining an augmented image of them. This instrument is characterized by increasing the image to the level of the retina in order to capture the information much better.

This tool is composed of lenses that are responsible for enlarging the small images that are being focused and that can not be seen with the naked eye by the human eye.

When it comes to an optical microscope, the augmented image is generated from different lenses, some mounted on the tool lens and others on the eyepiece. It is important to note that the lenses located in the lens, generate a real augmented image of the sample, then, the image is enlarged through the lenses of the eyepiece, giving rise to a virtual sample with a size greater than the original.

It is also important to mention the fact that one of the essential elements of these devices is light, perhaps that is why microscopes come equipped with a focus and capacitor, in this way, they manage to focus the beam of light towards the samples. After the light passes through the sample, the lenses are responsible for deflecting it correctly to achieve an enlarged image.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS FOR MICROSCOPY


* Metallographic or Metallurgical Microscope - Used in foundries, metal heat treatment facilities and metal shops
* Microscope for tool manufacturers - applied in the processes of tool manufacturing, mechanical workshops, parts and plant manufacturing
* Zoom Video Microscope System - Used in manufacturing companies involved in small circuits
* Industrial video capture microscopes use low-power microscopes connected to video cameras and a CCTV monitor. The small pieces to be seen are placed under the microscope and observed under various magnifications, of which the images are then transmitted by the CCTV monitor.
* Polarization Microscope- Used in the identification and analysis of minerals in various industries: plastics, food, paints, glass, fabrics, etc. Types and Designs
Two of the most common types of industrial microscope are the upright microscope and inverted microscope.
Users can choose from the very practical and portable models widely used in field research and inspection of large industrial models, which can be connected to computers. In turn, the images can be saved and transmitted to other equipment, thus allowing multiple views. Both types are used by students and teachers, researchers and manufacturers, hence their versatility in a variety of applications.
Microscopes are also used in the livestock and textile industry, two very different fields, which testify to the wide variety of industrial applications for microscopes. Other types are used for photography, forensic studies, glass industry, paper industry, pharmacy, ceramics, mineralogy, chemistry, crystal structure, nano electronics. The stereo microscope or "dissectionmicroscope" is an optical microscope used for three-dimensional vision. Capturing light with two lenses, stereo microscopes allow better studies of a thick specimen. Capable of allowing the observation of dark surfaces, the functions of the stereo microscope allow to see two rays of light making a stereo visual effect.
