SB2DALI230, DALI Master Unit Model SB2DALI230,, SB2DALI230, The SB2DALI230 is a DALI Master Unit for Smart Dupline®. The unit can be connected to the Smart Dupline bus at any point, and it is possible to connect up to 64 lighting actuators to the DALI bus output. It is possible to connect up to 7 SB2DALI230 units to a Smart Dupline® bus. The SB2DALI230 is powered at 230 WLA and has integrated DALI power. Lighting control functions (such as constant light zone and corridor lighting) are executed via the SxWEB controller. Presence detectors, lux sensors and light switches are connected via Smart Dupline to the SxWEB controller. All I/O, function parameters and control marks are available as BACnet objects in BACnet/IP, allowing easy integration into any BMS system., SB2DALI230, The DALI SB2DALI230 master unit is part of the SxWEB/Smart Dupline platform® for building automation applications. The unit is designed to provide an interface for lighting actuators, such as ballasts and LED drivers of lighting control systems. Lighting control functions such as constant light zone control and hallway lighting are executed via the SxWEB controller, connected to the DALI master unit via Smart Dupline®. The presence detectors, lux sensors and light switches required for lighting control connect directly to the Smart Dupline 2-wire bus®, which provides power and communication for connected devices. The SB2DALI230 is powered at 230 WLA and has integrated DALI power. Network topology Each DALI master unit can have up to 64 DALI actuators connected to its output, and it is possible to connect up to 7 DALI master units to a Smart Dupline bus®. Since an SxWEB controller can control up to 7 Smart Dupline networks®, the total number of DALI actuators that an SxWEB can control is as follows: 64 x 7 x 7 = 3,136 However, in many cases it is preferable to have a SxWEB controller in each plant and then connect them via BACnet/IP. In this way, the system is completely scalable and allows to control any number of light equipment. Addressing and programming The addressing and grouping of DALI actuators are carried out through the PC-based SxTool programming tool; in this way, it is possible to program and start up the entire system from a single user interface. It is possible to create up to 16 lighting groups for each DALI master unit. During the exploration of Smart Dupline networks® through the SxTool programming tool, DALI master units are automatically detected, which can be uniquely identified through SIN addresses. During dali master drive configuration, it is possible to perform a scan of the DALI network and assign addresses to DALI devices automatically. In the settings menu, the lights can be turned on and off separately. In this way, it is possible to easily identify the DALI addresses that have been assigned to the actuator. If necessary, it is then possible to exchange the addresses of DALI devices. Functions Lighting control functions are executed through the SxWEB controller. Various predefined functions are available, such as constant light zone control, corridor lighting, presence and lux-based control, programming, sequencing, regulation, stage control, timers, etc. The SxWEB provides a BACnet/IP interface that allows you to control lighting functions and parameter changes through BACnet objects. This greatly simplifies BMS integration. For example, each constant light function has a BACnet object that allows you to read and change the luminosity setpoint.
