DPB02CM48, Control Relays and Protection Three-Phase Sequence Control/Phase Break - Asymmetry, TRMS Models DPB02, PPB02, DPB02CM48, Three-phase or three-phase line voltage control relay with neutral for phase sequence control, phase breakage and phase asymmetry, with built-in delay function. Measurement scales from 208 to 480 WL available from two multi-voltage relays., DPB02CM48, Connected to the 3 phases (and neutral) the DPB02 and PPB02 relays connect when the 3 phases are present at the same time, the phase sequence is correct and the asymmetry is below the selected level. Asymmetry is defined by this formula: when phase-phase stresses are measured and also by this other formula: when phase-neutral stresses are measured. If the asymmetry exceeds the selected level, the red LED starts flashing at 2 Hz and the output relay disconnects after the adjusted delay period. In any case, if the phase-neutral measurement is selected, both phase-phase voltages and phase-neutral voltages will be controlled. If the phase sequence is correct or a phase loss occurs, the output relay disconnects immediately after the 200 ms delay period. The fault will be indicated by the red LED flashing at 5 Hz during the alarm situation. Example 1 (main network control) The relay controls asymmetry, phase breakage, and correct phase sequence. Example 2 (load control) The relay disconnects when one or more phases are interrupted or when the asymmetry exceeds the pre-selected level. Select the desired input through DIP switches 3 and 4, and function through DIP switches 1 and 2. To access the DIP switches open the plastic cover as indicated in the figure. Selection of asymmetry and time delay: Central potentiometer: Adjustment of the asymmetry in relative scale. Lower potentiometer: Adjustment of the delay to the alarm connection in absolute scale (0.1 to 30 s).
