SPUC24720, UPS Controller Model SPUC 30A 12/24V DIN Rail Mount, SPUC24720, Being a UPS controller, the SPUC can be used to convert any existing conventional supply system into an uninterruptible power supply system, or to form a UPS system by using a separate power supply. It is suitable for both 12V and 24V systems, and manages a charging current of up to 30A, while the recommended battery sizes are from 4 to 12 Ah. The SPUC input must be connected to a 12Vdc or 24Vdc source, depending on the model. The output is connected to the load that needs uninterruptible power. The battery (recommendation: lead acid) is connected to the battery terminals. DIN rail mount racks, with or without batteries, are also available for easy battery installation next to the SPUC. The rated load voltage is 13.6 V (or 27.2V). The charging is carried out in the first stage by constant current, and then with constant voltage until the nominal voltage is reached. When the battery is fully charged, it continues in the "flotation" cycle. The sulfation process is avoided by charging with positive/negative pulse current. If the 24 Vdc input is cut off due to power failures or general outage, the SPUC will immediately activate the power to the load, using the energy stored in the battery. There are three relays for remote monitoring of operation: "DC OK" indicates a suitable DC output, "Battery fail" indicates a possible battery failure, and "Backup Mode" remotely indicates that the device is providing power to the charge from the battery, not from the input., SPUC24720, UPS controller with DIN rail mount.
