CLD2EA1CM24, Conductive Sensors 2-point Level Controller Model CL with Potentiometer, CLD2EA1CM24, Microprocessor-based Level Control for liquids with a wide sensitivity range (wastewater, chemicals, salt water, etc.). Max./min. control of loading/unloading. The sensitivity is adjusted by the potentiometer and the rotary switch. Relay output DPDT 2 x 8A., CLD2EA1CM24, Connection cable PVC cable of 2, 3 or 4 conductors, normally shielded. Cable length: max. 100 m. The resistance between the conductive wire and ground must be at least 500K. Normally, it is recommended to use a shielded cable between the probe and the relay, for example, if the cable is placed in parallel with the power (network) cables. The shielding has to be connected to Y3 (reference). Example 1 The diagram shows the connected level control as max. and min control. Relays react to low alternating current when the electrodes are in contact with the liquid. The reference (Ref) must be connected to the tank, or if the tank is made of a non-conductive material, to an additional electrode. (It will connect to the Y3 pin.) (In the diagram, such an electrode is indicated by a dotted line.) NOTE! If only one level needs to be detected, interconnect the Y1 and Y2 inputs.
