SH2RE1A424, Relay Output Module Model SH2RE1A424., SH2RE1A424, SH2RE1A424 is a four-relay output module for DIN rail mounting. Outputs are usually disabled. When the Dupline® bus receives an activation command, the output is activated and remains activated until the deactivation order is received. Thanks to the internal bus, the modules of the SH2RE1A424 can be connected to each other without the need for wiring on the Dupline bus., SH2RE1A424, If the SH2RE1A424 is connected to the Dupline bus® and the bus works properly, the relay module will be in STANDARD mode and the green LED will be activated. The relay will access local mode if the button is pressed. In LOCAL mode, the relay does not support any bus command and the LED will flash. The relay can return to STANDARD mode after one of the following events: 1) Immediately after the return of the Dupline bus® 2) After a time limit of 1 minute after pressing a button 3) After restarting the power. Pushbutton The button is used to activate/deactivate the outputs, without the need to connect the bus for testing. Connected bus By a short press, the user accesses the LOCAL mode and the green LED starts flashing; at the same time, all outputs will be activated, if at least one of them is disabled. If all outputs are enabled, they will be disabled. Bus not connected or bus failure If the bus is not connected or there is a bus failure, the pushbutton will replace the safe state in case of failure of the outputs; if at least one of the outputs is disabled, all of them will be activated. If all outputs are enabled, they will be disabled. In case all outputs are set to the fail-safe restart state, a short press will restore the timer and restore the outputs to their original state. Safe status in case of failure The output status of the relays, if the Dupline® bus is not disconnected or if there is a bus failure, is programmed through the SH tool and the user can choose between the following options: 1. Outputs always disabled 2. Always on outputs 3. The four outputs maintain the state they had before disconnection 4. All four outputs run a cycle with programmable on/off periods; the user can adjust both the activation period and the deactivation period between 1 and 255 minutes. By factory setting, the outputs are always disabled. Encoding/Addressing No addressing is required, as the module is equipped with a specific identification number (SIN). The user only has to enter the SIN number in the SH tool when creating the system configuration. Channels used: 4 output channels.
