DPB52CM44, Three-phase multifunction control relay, TRMS, DPB52CM44, DPB52 is a control relay for three-phase electrical networks without neutral. In addition to protecting loads against incorrect phase sequencing or phase loss, it provides maximum or minimum alarm with delay to the potentiometer-adjustable connection. Phase loss is also detected with the presence of regenerated tension. The DPB52 relay is powered by the very lines it is measuring. Internally it feeds from a switched source, being more immune to interference, harmonic and transient. It also allows for a wide range of input. The conformation coating of the internal circuitry provides you with additional protection against moisture and dust. The output signal is provided by an electromechanical relay with a 5 A switched contact. Two LEDs on the front provide visual indication of the status of the output and alarms. The alarm LED is bicolor. Its color and flicker indicate the operating status. Due to its narrow box, it is possible to install it both in industrial cabinets, as in distribution panels NORM., DPB52CM44, Intended use: The DPB52 relay is suitable for network quality control and three-phase load lines with nominal supply voltage from 208 WL to 480 WLV. The monitoring function is carried out from line to line. Device configuration: The relay works when all phases are present, the sequence of these is correct and the phase-phase voltage levels are within the established limits. The relay is deactivated when one or more phase-phase voltages exceed the set upper value or when they fall below the set value. The DPB52 relay is configurable by potentiometers, to establish the max. and min voltage values, the delay to the connection and the nominal voltage of the line. Alarms: The DPB52 relay works in 2 different modes depending on the type of alarm. The following situations cause immediate deactivation of the relay: Phase loss Incorrect phase sequence Measured out of range The following situations will cause the relay to be deactivated after a time equal to the delay set in the alarm passes. Voltage min. U< Max. voltage U> In this case, if the cause of the alarm returns to normal condition, before the delay time elapses, the output will not change. Visual information: The DPB52 relay has 2 front LED indicators that provide information about the status of the relay The LED1 (output) lights up if the output is active The LED2 (alarm) is bicolor green / red and can be fixed or flashing: Green illuminated fixed: OK (WITHOUT alamas) Green flashing: Voltage alarm min. or max. activated but within the delay time 1 flashing in red: Out-of-range parameters, alarm ON 2 flashes in red: Phase sequence, alarm ON 3 flashes in red: Loss of phase, alarm ON 4 flickers in red: Minimum voltage, alarm ON 5 flashes in red: Maximum voltage, alarm ON Phase loss: The measurement of phase loss is made by comparing the voltage values of the 3 phases (L1-L2, L2-L2 and L1-L3). If the voltage of one phase falls below 75% compared to the other 2 phases, the alarm goes off. The DPB52 relay detects voltage regenerated by loads, for example in the case of motor or transformer loads.
