RSBT4025EV11HP, Dual and 3 Phase Scroll Compressor Soft Starter - RSBD and RSBT models, RSBT4025EV11HP, RSBD and RSBT are soft starters for Scroll compressors up to 45A (RSBD) and up to 32A (RSBT) rated current. They are equipped with an adaptive algorithm that makes the starter automatically adapt to the compressor it is controlling, ensuring an optimal reduction of the irruption intensity. RSBD controls two phases and RSBT controls three phases, both with integrated bypass relays to reduce heat dissipation within the panel. This controller does not include protections against short circuits or overload so they must be installed externally and with specific values., RSBT4025EV11HP, Automatic adaptive algorithm (patented) The RSBD and RSBT series of soft starters include an innovative automatic adaptive algorithm (patented) that ensures an optimal start intensity at each compressor start. This feature is active at every compressor start.. The soft starter automatically sets the appropriate parameters to perform an optimal reduction of the inrush current, while maintaining an upward ramp time of <1s. In case of rotor lock alarm/up ramp time, the parameters set by default are automatically reset. During successive compressor starts-ups, the automatic adaptive function will be activated by optimizing these parameters automatically once again. Protections against short circuits and overload are not included, the user is the one who must install them. RSB-specific operating mode....V..HP RSB....V..HP should attempt a soft start of the compressor within the specified intensity range. Depending on the load requirements, the intensity limit will gradually increase to a maximum intensity (see intensity/power values). If the ramp does not run after a maximum of 1 second, the incomplete ramp alarm will be triggered (6 flashes of the red LED) and RSB...HP will go into recovery mode for 5 min. If with the second consecutive attempt, RSB...HP the incomplete ramp alarm goes off again, user intervention will be necessary to zero the RSB power...HP, as it may indicate a real locked rotor condition. Intensity balancing strategy (RSBD models) RSBD soft starters use a two-phase control strategy with two anti-parallel thyristors through L1-T1 and L2-T3. The L2-T2 phase is the uncontrolled phase. During each start, the RSBD soft starter measures a number of parameters and dynamically adjusts the starting parameters to reduce the intensity imbalance in the L2-T2 phase, obtaining a smoother start of the engine.
