The wire and line detector is used to locate wires and power lines that are centered in the wall. It's made up of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter has a connector that connects to a plug with voltage (max. 240 V AC) and emits an acoustic signal to the line under voltage. Now you can follow the signal from the wire with the receiver through the wall to the fuse. If a cable disruption is found, the signal goes off. The cable and line detector is the ideal device for the detection of wires if p.e. you want to drill holes in walls and you're not sure if wires go through that place. The same thing happens if you need to nail some nails, p.e. to hang a painting. It is also very easy to locate undefined fuses in the electrical distribution. Connect the transmitter to a plug in the corresponding circuit and search with the receiver in the distribution for the correct fuse. For all these searches it is not necessary to leave the lines without tension.
