DFB01CM24, Frequency Control and Protection Relays Models DFB01, PFB01, DFB01CM24, Frequency Level Precise Control Relays. They measure the frequency of their own supply voltage from 24 to 240 WLV. The interlocking function allows the relay to be kept activated even after the alarm condition ceases. The inhibition function is used to prevent the operation of the relay when this is necessary (maintenance operations or adjustments). LEDs indicate the status of the alarm and the output relay., DFB01CM24, These devices control the frequency level of their own supply voltage. Example 1 (Non-interlock mode - relay normally off) When the measured frequency is above or below the pre-selected maximum or minimum levels for longer than set, the relay connects and the yellow LED lights up. When the measured frequency is back within the selected maximum and minimum limits, the relay disconnects. The red LED flashes until the end of the delay period, or until the measured value is back within the set limits. Example 2 (Interlock mode - relay normally activated) The relay connects and the yellow LED remains lit as long as the measured frequency is within the selected maximum and minimum limits. The relay disconnects and is placed in the alarm position when the measured frequency is maintained above or below the selected maximum or minimum levels for longer than set. The red LED flashes until the delay period has ended or the measured value is back within the selected limits. If the frequency is below the maximum level (minus hysteresis) or above the minimum level (plus hysteresis), the relay will connect when the connection between the Z1, Z2 or 8, 9 terminals is interrupted.
