The Barcol hardness tester is used to measure hardness. It is mostly used in the aluminium sector, but other materials such as metals, copper and lead can be tested. Another area used is the hardness measurement of hard plastics or glass fibre reinforced plastic materials. The measurement values are displayed on the backlit LCD display.
